Brownout Monitor is a personal tool run by one person for their own Google Calendar. It is not offered to the public and nobody else signs in to it.

What Google data it uses

It asks Google for one permission: to view and edit events on the owner's calendars. It uses that permission for three things only:

to add a warning event when a scheduled power interruption is confirmed,
to update or remove that warning if the utility changes or cancels the schedule,
to look for warnings it already added, so the same interruption is never added twice.

It does not use Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google service, and it does not change calendar events it did not create.

What it stores

The Google sign in key it needs is kept on the owner's own computer, in a file only that computer account can open. Calendar events are not copied into any separate database. The tool keeps a short log on the same computer of which announcements it has already checked.

Who else sees the data

The tool is run by an AI assistant on the owner's computer. Calendar details it reads or writes while doing this job pass through the AI service that runs that assistant, only to carry out the task. The data is never sold, never used for advertising and never shared with anyone else.

Removing access

Access can be removed at any time from Google Account, third party connections. Once removed, the tool can no longer read or change the calendar. Warning events it already added can be deleted from Google Calendar like any other event, and the stored sign in key can be deleted from the computer.

Changes
